Sonam Kapoor is set to bring back Neerja Bhanot’s life on screen. She just released something that will bring back fond memories of the courageous flight attendant.
As Neerja boarded the Pan Am Flight 73 on September 5, 1986, she made her regular flight announcement. The makers of Neerja have managed to find that recording. Yes, this is the real voice of Neerja Bhanot!
Neerja is the courageous story of the 23 year old air hostess who lost her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked flight. For this, she was awarded the highest bravery award by three countries – India, Pakistan and USA.
The film releases February 19.
